Knowing Your Two Way Radios are in Good Hands

6 September, 2007 (13:24) | Announcements, Mag One BPR40 | By: Adam

A couple of posts ago, I wrote that we donated two way radios to the BOMA San Diego work party. Pedro Anaya, Associate Executive Director for the Jackie Robinson Family YMCA, recently commented on the BPR 40 radios:

“The radios have made our work at the YMCA much smoother as we are able to better communicate during special events, day camp, and tournament weekends. Our staff is now better connected further improving the quality of our programs.”

We’re glad that our contribution has helped the Jackie Robinson Family YMCA.

In other CommUSA news…

  • The San Diego Business Journal and Robert Half® recently announced that we are one of San Diego’s 100 Fastest growing privately held companies.
  • Inc.com has informed us that we have earned a place on their inaugural Inc. 5,000 list.
  • Our two way radio videos have also received attention, with an article in the San Diego Business Journal.

These awards are a reflection of the customer service and two way radio expertise that we have shown for the past 19 years.

Mag One BPR40 Improvements

25 June, 2007 (12:51) | Mag One BPR40, Two Way Radios | By: Adam

Motorola just came out with a new standard package for the Mag One BPR40 two way radio. The new package contains a standard 1500 mAh Li-ion battery and a three hour tri-chemistry rapid rate charger, which cuts the charge time in half. The lithium ion battery is an upgrade because it can be charged at any time and it develops no memory.

For a “value radio”, we have been very impressed with the BPR40’s durability. Since its launch in January of 2006, our two way radio repair department has seen very few BPR40’s sent in for repair.
